The AI Chatbot is the most remarkable development in technology in recent years. The ease with which we can now communicate with a computer was not imagined even a couple of years ago. In addition, the wide range of tasks which the computer can now undertake in helping its user to be efficient and effective is remarkable.
These systems need to be understood if they're going to be used efficiently and effectively and these two one-hour sessions will guide novices through what AI-Chatbots are and how they can be used for the most frequently required tasks.
This course will be delivered through Zoom and a wide range of techniques will be demonstrated and participants will be able to test their own use of an AI-Chatbot and obtain feedback.

Dan Remenyi has been fascinated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) since his teenage years. Realising just how potent AI could become he argues that we need to be very careful on how we exploited this technology. He is now involved in spreading knowledge about what AI can do, how we use it and what we need to be aware of regarding its potential. He holds a BSocSc, MBA and PhD.
He is a Visiting Professor at University of Kwazulu-Natal and an Honorary Professor at the University of the Western Cape. He is an alumnus of the University of Cape Town. He now lives in South Oxfordshire in the United Kingdom.
