Maximum number of participants 40
VENUE Main entrance, d-school Afrika, Cross Campus Road, Middle Campus
Join us for an interactive introduction to design thinking. The workshop explores how design thinking can help us look at challenges differently, question our assumptions and develop new ideas.
Participants will work through a hands-on design challenge, exploring how to understand people and context, reframe a problem, generate ideas and build simple prototypes to learn what might work.
The workshop will also introduce some of the thinking that sits behind the process such as staying curious, working collaboratively, being comfortable with uncertainty and learning by trying things out rather than jumping too quickly to a solution.
The workshop is open to anyone interested in different ways of approaching problems and opportunities. No prior experience is needed. Expect to participate, make things, work with others and learn by doing.
