Write A Novel That Sparkles!

Join author and writing coach Sally Cranswick for this 5-week novel-writing course, where you will take your idea and design a full novel that will sustain a reader’s interest throughout the beginning, middle and end.

During the course, there will be practical application of novel-writing techniques, discussions about novels we love and why they work, and the opportunity to get feedback on your work-in-progress from Sally. In addition, there will be weekly homework assignments plus an engaging WhatsApp writing group.

This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in the art of novel writing and all writers are welcome to join.

Sally is an author and writing coach with a special interest in memoir and life writing. Her novel, Of All Things We Need Hope, has just been released by Modjaji Books and her collection of short stories, Women out of Water, was nominated for the SALA Nadine Gordimer Short Story Award, 2022. She has written for many publications and is studying for her PhD in Creative Writing. Before settling in Cape Town, Sally was a singer and lived in many countries around the world. Sally’s debut novel, Of All Things We Need Hope, is a story of hope, forgiveness and restorative versus retributive justice, all told through the narrative of a woman who willfully befriends her son's murderer whilst he is serving a life sentence in prison.
